Nicole Yingrun Ouyang

Nicole Yingrun Ouyang is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Quantitative Economics at the University of Southern California, with an expected completion date of December 2024. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

At CUHK’s Research Institute of Big Data, Nicole demonstrated her research and analytical skills by creating a comprehensive database of Hong Kong village house rental market and conducting quantitative analysis on the dynamics of Hong Kong’s traditional village house policy. Nicole’s concentration in education inequality, empirical analysis, development economics, and health insurance aligns with her goal of leveraging data to drive positive change in underserved communities.
