Ramon Luquin

Graduate Research Assistant

Ramon Luquin is a first-year Master of Urban Planning Student at the Price School of Public Policy and is the membership director of the Latinx Student Graduate Association (LSGA)

He earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from California State University, Long Beach. He worked for the California State Assembly for over four years as a Senior Field Representative/caseworker, where he focused on legislative analysis, policy research, community outreach, and as the liaison between the residents and state agencies. He currently works as an urban planner, with an emphasis on residential projects, accessory dwelling units (ADUs), and interpreting city codes and regulations to assist the public.

He was born and raised in Paramount, California, and is looking to serve the communities in Los Angeles County.
