Jiaqi Dong (she/her) is a doctoral student in Urban Planning and Development at USC Sol Price School of Public Policy. She holds a Master of Urban Planning and a Master of Science in Applied Urban Science and Informatics from New York University (NYU) Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and Tandon School of Engineering. She attended NYU Shanghai for undergraduate studies with a double major in Business and Finance and Interactive Media Arts.
Jiaqi has extensive experience in data related to housing, zoning, real estate, health, education, and other urban policy-focused issues. Before pursuing her doctoral studies at USC Price, she worked as the Data Manager at the NYU Furman Center for Real Estate and Urban Policy. Previously, she was a Data Scientist Research Associate at JPMorgan Chase Institute, leveraging large-scale data to provide public policy insights. Her research interests focus on neighborhood change, segregation, inequality, and place-based policy.
