The Book Truck increases literacy skills among foster care, homeless, and low-income teens in order to create a pathway out of poverty. To help the Book Truck understand access to books across communities, the NDSC team identified a source of data for both library and book store locations and mapped them across Los Angeles County. This map is published on the NDSC Civic Support Enterprise page. Book store and library locations have also been added as new datasets on the NDSC map under the Social Connectedness policy area.
