
Christa Tang
Doctoral Research Assistant
Christa Tang is a doctoral student in Urban Planning and Development at the University of Southern California’s Sol Price School of Public Policy. Her research interests include the evolution of urban structures, inequality in housing markets and labor markets, the role of education in household wealth accumulation, urban economic growth in underdeveloped areas, private equity investment strategies and returns, and real estate investment trusts.
Christa earned a Bachelor of Management in Electronic Commerce from South China University of Technology. She then completed a Global Real Estate Master at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Master of Finance at Zhejiang University. She is passionate about educational equity, gender equality, and sustainable urban development in underdeveloped regions. She has worked on projects related to private equity, institutional investments, and people’s willingness to pay for opportunities.
