Ruth McCormack

Ruth McCormack (she/her) is a Research Program Specialist for the NDSC team. In this role, she primarily assists with administering grant operations for the California Workforce Accelerator Fund (WAF) 10. In addition to research projects, Ruth works on communications and fundraising for NDSC. In June 2023, Ruth graduated with her Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) and a certificate in social innovation from the USC Price School of Public Policy. During her time at Price, she worked as a Research Assistant for the Price Center for Social Innovation where she led strategic planning initiatives, and wrote grant proposals and reports for NDSC and the Homelessness Policy Research Institute (HPRI). She also acted as project manager for government contracts with a variety of departments within the City of Los Angeles. Before moving to Los Angeles in 2021, Ruth worked in market research and nonprofit organizations in New York City. She graduated with her BA in Art History from Barnard College.
Ruth is passionate about finding innovative solutions to complex social problems and works to understand how best to achieve that change.
