About NDSC
Neighborhood Data for Social Change (NDSC) is a project within the USC Lusk Center for Real Estate focused on using data to help local civic actors track measurable change, improve local policies and programs, and ultimately advocate for a better quality of life within their communities. The project includes a free, publicly available online resource that helps tell the stories of Los Angeles County neighborhoods through maps, charts and storytelling, as well as a suite of customizable data for local civic actors.
Download and learn more about every dataset on the NDSC platform including the original data sources, available years, and why each variable is important to measure.
This initiative allows our team to provide data support services such as rapid response research, data analyses, and custom visualizations.
View data across ten different policy areas across LA County neighborhoods, cities and census tracts.
